Many mid-sized companies already know they need to digitalize. The harder question is where to start, which processes to touch first, and how to avoid buying software that operators cannot run six months later.
GII treats the roadmap as a delivery sequence, not a slide deck. We begin with a digital maturity check, map the operating model, then specify the first systems that reduce manual work without forcing a full IT replacement. Each step has an owner, a training path and a way to measure whether the process is actually in use.
The result is a plan that fits German Mittelstand conditions: existing machinery, limited IT teams, and the need to keep production running while new tools are introduced. Strategy only counts when the next system is live.
