The Middle East Water Forum brings utilities, policymakers and technical partners together around water security. GII’s role is to keep the exchange practical: applied water systems, training formats and German engineering that can be used in regional conditions.
Recurring themes this year included bilingual knowledge platforms, the water-energy-food-environment nexus, and the shortage of structured capacity building for utility staff. Technology without operators remains a short-lived investment.
MEWF continues as a working forum rather than a one-off conference. The value is the network of utilities and experts who can share methods, not only presentations.
